SMS / TEXT MESSAGING TERMS
Center for Integrative Change may use SMS/text messaging to communicate with individuals and couples who voluntarily provide their mobile phone number and provide the applicable consent through website forms, website chat, or other consent-based contact points. The SMS program may include both service/transactional messages and promotional messages, as described below.
SMS Program
By providing a mobile telephone number and selecting the applicable SMS consent option, you agree to receive the type of text messages described in that consent disclosure from Center for Integrative Change at the number provided. Service/transactional SMS consent and promotional SMS consent are separate.
A user is not required to consent to promotional SMS in order to submit an inquiry, request information, schedule a consultation, purchase a service, or receive services. SMS consent must be voluntary and must not be a condition of purchase.
Service / Transactional Messages
Center for Integrative Change uses SMS to communicate with individuals and couples who voluntarily provide their mobile number and consent through website forms, chat, or other consent-based contact points. Service-related SMS messages may include:
Responses to inquiries
Consultation scheduling
Appointment confirmations
Appointment reminders
Scheduling updates
Service-related notifications
Information related to a requested service or interaction
Other non-promotional communications related to services
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Promotional Messages
With separate, express consent, Center for Integrative Change may also send promotional SMS messages regarding:
Services
Educational resources
Events
Special offers
Company updates
Promotional SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase or receiving services. Providing a phone number does not automatically enroll an individual in promotional SMS.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Promotional SMS consent disclosure
“By checking this box, I consent to receive promotional SMS messages from Center for Integrative Change, including information about services, educational resources, events, special offers, and company updates. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Marketing SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.”
Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. We do not promise a fixed number of messages. The frequency of messages depends on the nature of the service or interaction and the consent you have provided.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Upon receiving a valid opt-out request, applicable SMS messaging will cease, except for any limited communication that may be necessary to process or confirm the opt-out or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. You may also opt out by contacting [email protected].
Opting out of promotional SMS does not necessarily prevent us from sending necessary service-related communications where such communications are otherwise permitted and necessary to fulfill a requested service. Opting out of SMS may prevent you from receiving appointment reminders by text, but it does not necessarily cancel appointments or other obligations. You remain responsible for attending scheduled appointments and reviewing other available communications.
Help
Reply HELP for help. For additional assistance, users may contact [email protected].
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers and telecommunications infrastructure, which are outside our control. We cannot guarantee that any particular message will be delivered, received, or received promptly.
SMS Is Not an Emergency Service
SMS/text messaging is not an emergency service and should not be used for emergencies, crisis intervention, or urgent medical or mental-health situations. Do not use SMS, email, website forms, or other ordinary electronic communications as a substitute for emergency assistance. If someone is experiencing an emergency or immediate danger, they should contact 911 or an appropriate emergency/crisis service.
Security of Ordinary SMS
Because Center for Integrative Change provides therapy and related services, please be aware that ordinary SMS is not guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not send highly sensitive clinical, medical, therapeutic, or other confidential information through ordinary SMS unless you are specifically instructed to use an appropriate secure communication method. We do not represent that SMS is a secure method for transmitting sensitive clinical information, and we do not promise confidentiality of ordinary text messages beyond what can reasonably be guaranteed.
Privacy Policy and Mobile Information
Your use of SMS messaging is also subject to our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.centerforintegrativechange.com/privacy-policy. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are handled according to the Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Center for Integrative Change may use third-party technology providers to facilitate:
SMS delivery
Appointment scheduling
CRM/contact management
Website functionality
Communications
Other business operations
These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide the applicable service. This use of providers is consistent with our Privacy Policy and does not permit mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information to be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may maintain records associated with SMS consent and preferences, including:

Date/time of consent
Consent source
Type of SMS consent

Opt-out requests
Related communication records
These records may be retained as reasonably necessary to administer the messaging program, honor opt-out requests, demonstrate consent, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal requirements. Consent records are not used for unrelated marketing.
